Together with the Bavarian Vaccination Centers, TUM offers its students and employees the opportunity to be vaccinated against COVID-19 directly on campus without pre-registration. The vaccination is voluntary and free of charge, and it is open to all TUM students and staff – regardless of their citizenship or place of residence. After the first campaigns in July at the Munich and Garching campuses, further vaccination offers take place in October on Campus Garching.
Update 23 September: New vaccination campaign dates at the start of the lecture period in Garching
- Time: 12 October, 13 October, 18 October and 19 October, 09.00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Location: Magistrale of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Boltzmannstr. 15, 85748 Garching, Germany
- Identity card or passport
- If available: Vaccination certificate
- In case of second vaccination or vaccination with vaccines not approved in the EU: Vaccination records from previous vaccinations
Proof of health insurance is not required. The mRNA vaccine "Comirnaty" (from Biontech / Pfizer) and the vector vaccine Janssen (from Janssen-Cilag/Johnson & Johnson) are offered.
Appointments in the vaccination centers
The vaccination centers in Munich-Riem and Unterschleißheim also offer appointments at short notice outside of special vaccination campaigns:
For the Munich-Riem vaccination center, appointments can be made on www.impfzentren.bayern. Students or employees living outside of Munich can provide the address of TUM: Arcisstr. 21, 80333 Munich.
