New strong partner for the EuroTech Universities Alliance
Israel's Technion joins EuroTech

Lively partnership with TUM
"TUM and Technion reached their first agreement on academic and scientific collaboration as early as 1990. Over the years this collaboration has grown into a partnership on many levels, with lively exchange between students and employees and in numerous joint research projects. Some examples are the current nine EU-financed projects in information technologies, flight system dynamics and in biochemistry. Thus we know with great certainty that with Technion we are bringing an outstanding new member into the Alliance," says TUM President Prof. Wolfgang A. Herrmann.
Next call of the EuroTech Postdoc Programme
As one of the first cross-country fellowship programs, the EuroTech Postdoc Programme provides 80 promising fellows unique access to the research expertise and infrastructures across the EuroTech Universities while at the same time offering exclusive entrepreneurship and mobility opportunities in several of Europe’s top high-tech eco-systems. The second call of the program co-funded by “Horizon 2020” will be published on November 30.
Recognizing what alliances of universities can achieve when pooling resources and combining strengths, the European Commission launched a pilot scheme in support of European university networks in October.
