TUM and Voith agree on research alliance for innovative topics

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the technology company Voith yesterday signed a frame agreement regulating the fundamental aspects of future collaboration in research.

TUM and Voith work together in a large number of research projects, for example on innovative manufacturing processes, production technologies and hydropower. Yesterday they concluded a frame agreement in Munich to simplify the process for future collaborations.  

Around 1000 collaboration agreements in year

Successful research partnerships with industry help accelerate technology transfer in society. TUM thus concludes approximately 1,000 collaboration agreements with partners in the business sector every year. These partnerships are defined transparently and in perfect compliance with ethical standards in accordance with the principles of the TUM Research Code of Conduct (PDF).
