Corona Blues? No thanks!

Start the new semester – mentally healthy and motivated

In these times, it is more important than ever to pay attention to your own resources and to recharge your batteries. During the "TUM4Mind Digital Awareness Week Mental Health" from May 3 to 7, 2021, we will give you some ideas on how to do that.

In recent weeks and months, the TUM4Mind team has heard from many students that they often feel exhausted. A lot of students find it difficult to motivate themselves for studying and to concentrate while working in their "home offices". This is fully understandable under these extraordinary circumstances.

Corona has been with us for more than a year now, and many of us are increasingly feeling under the weather. The personal exchange with friends and fellow students is missing. It has been a long time since you could meet with a group of friends to do sports, to go on excursions or to simply to party together.

Relaxation, Self-management, Exchange

During the “TUM4Mind Awareness Week“ we will offer participatory relaxation courses as well as workshops on topics such as motivation, resilience or dealing with mental stress in both German and English. At the digital campfire, students will share their experiences with each other in the context of storytelling and learn to see their own story from a different perspective.

In the English language workshop "Corona Blues? No thanks", an experienced psychologist will shed light on the effects of the Corona pandemic for our psychological well-being and will share many practical strategies for coping with everyday life in the home office.
