Postdoctoral lecturer qualifications
(Habilitation)

The postdoctoral lecturer thesis ("Habilitation") is a chance for young researchers to prove their outstanding academic credentials. This qualification is the traditional route to obtaining a professorship, though this does not apply to the engineering disciplines.
