100 Voices – One Planet

The international and interdisciplinary team collects personal testimonies of 100 people from 100 countries about climate crisis to raise awareness about the consequences of the overheating of the earth.

Academic Energy Cooperative @ TUM

The group seeks to scale sustainable energy projects on campus and drive forward a broader sustainable transformation.

Biogenesis

Biogenesis brings together students from various fields to promote health, performance, and longevity. Through talks, workshops, and discussions on bioactive substances and health tech, self-optimization is explored in a practical way.

Campus Runners

Student running group with three weekly runs – from relaxed social runs to intense interval training. There is also the opportunity to train together for the Munich (half) marathon.

Environmental Lecture Series

The lecture series has offered interdisciplinary talks on topics like climate and health since 1985. Organized voluntarily by students, it promotes scientific exchange and raises awareness on current environmental issues.

Future Foods

Future Foods is committed to reducing environmental impact, improving animal welfare, and fighting global hunger. Members explore future technologies like precision fermentation and cultivated meat, exchanging ideas on innovative solutions.

Impetus Sailing Team

Impetus Sailing designs, builds, and sails sustainable boats for student competitions. Combining engineering, teamwork and water sports – with a focus on circular materials. Open to students from all Munich universities.

Mary's Meals Studentclub

The club highlights global hunger, strengthens access to education, and activates students. Actions, events, and talks drive its shared mission: Zero Hunger.

MedTech OneWorld Students

MedTech OneWorld Students develops medical technology solutions for developing countries in collaboration with local partners. Students from all fields are welcome to join, contribute ideas, and help improve global health.

MUN Centenarians

A community to collectively explore the field of aging, preventative measures, and in doing so unlock an alternative way of life.

Munich Student Athletes Club

MuSAC unites student athletes from all sports, fosters connection, provides support, and advocates for their interests. Achieving more together – both on and off the field.

Nightline München

Listening hotline – by students, for students. Volunteer students answer the calls, offering a listening ear and support to their fellow students.

Plant a Seed

Plant a Seed brings sustainability to campus, creates meeting spaces, and jointly promotes the sustainable transformation of urban spaces.

Plant-Based Universities Munich

Students drive the shift toward plant-based, healthy, and affordable campus dining and advocate for sustainable food systems.

ReparadTUM

The student initiative enables students and staff to repair their bicycles using provided tools and expert support.

School of Circularity

The School of Circularity drives the transition to a circular economy. Through workshops, real-world projects, and industry partnerships, it builds a network that promotes sustainable thinking and action.

Sky Campus Munich

The student initiative focuses on mental health during studies. Through workshops on meditation, breathwork, yoga, and emotional intelligence, it strengthens resilience and well-being in everyday academic life.

SRM Talks

The initiative organizes a lecture series on sustainable resource management, welcoming participants from all fields to promote knowledge and awareness for responsible resource use.

SusTUMable Design

The working group at Campus Straubing meets weekly to creatively explore sustainable ideas in product and graphic design through brainstorming and sketching sessions.

TU eMpower Africa e.V.

TU eMpower Africa develops sustainable water-energy-food systems to empower rural communities in Africa. Interdisciplinary projects create practical improvements in harvests and quality of life through renewable energy.

TU Peak Seekers

TU Peak Seekers unites students who love mountains. Shared summit hikes offer breathtaking views, nature experiences, and opportunities to build new friendships.

TUM Carbon Removal Initiative

Students develop CO2 capture and storage technologies to combat the climate crisis and reduce atmospheric CO2 levels.

TUM Cycling Club

The road cycling club offers students group rides, technique and safety training, plus workshops on training, nutrition, and bike maintenance – fostering fun, safety, and community in cycling.

TUM Green Tech Initiative

The TUM Green Tech Initiative links sustainability with innovation. Students develop real prototypes like desalination systems, waste robots, and more – turning green ideas into future-ready solutions.

TUM HN Hiking Club

The club organizes weekend trips into nature around Heilbronn, giving students the chance to be active outdoors together and enjoy the landscape.
