The architect, designer and university lecturer Richard Riemerschmid (1868-1957) is one of the most important artists of Art Nouveau. His estate, comprising around 8,500 drawings, 4,500 photographs and 395 archival documents, was added to the collection of the TUM Museum of Architecture in 1970. It is currently being recorded and digitized in a bavarikon project. www.bavarikon.de is the cultural portal of the Free State of Bavaria and is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts and the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs.

  • The two special tours offer exclusive insights into the work of Richard Riemerschmid and the process of recording and digitization.
  • The tours take place at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • The number of participants per tour is limited to 20 people.
  • Registration with details of the time: archivspam prevention@architekturmuseum.de
