Experience the hidden world of microbes in “Bakteriopolis,” a repurposed shipping container created by TU Dresden for visitors of all ages. The interactive exhibition illustrates that bacteria are found everywhere and possess a wide range of abilities.
Exhibition highlights:

Multicellularity in Bacteria: Using water kefir and electricity-conducting cable bacteria as examples, the exhibition shows how these microorganisms work together as a group.

Hands-on stations: Here, visitors can explore the tree of life, look through microscopes themselves, and take part in various craft activities to gain insight into the microcosm.
