Become a hacker for a day
Capture the flag: Cybersecurity competition
Event location
Große Rechnerhalle, MI Garching
Target audience
students
Cybersecurity is more important than ever – but how do attackers operate? The best way to learn is through hands-on experience! The student initiative h4tum invites all TUM students to its first "Capture the flag" competition.
What’s in store?
- Challenges for all skill levels: From beginner to expert, no prior knowledge required, just curiosity.
- Teamwork: Compete in teams of up to four people.
- Networking: Connect with the TUM cybersecurity community.
During the CTF, you will analyze IT systems, uncover vulnerabilities, and capture digital “flags” to score points. Tasks range from cracking encryption to tricking web applications.
Bring your laptop and experience what it is like to be a hacker for a day.
