Artificial intelligence is fundamentally transforming medicine. It supports the early detection of diseases, enables personalized therapies, and opens up new possibilities in nursing and patient care. At the same time, it raises important ethical, social, and legal questions.
This event kicks off the new series “2036 – Healthy with AI?” organized by M1 – Munich Medicine Alliance. The focus is on the impact of AI on medical decision-making, as well as questions of responsibility, fairness, and the benefits for society. Experts will discuss the opportunities and challenges of this development with the audience. Guests include medical ethicist Alena Buyx, director of the Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine at TUM and former chair of the German Ethics Council; prenatal medicine specialist Christoph Hübener; and palliative care specialist Johanna Anneser.
