Presenter
Maria Chiara de Nobili, Alexander Miller und Nam Tran Xuan (Miller de Nobili)

This workshop offers an introduction to the diverse movement languages that shape the work of Miller de Nobili. Led by Maria Chiara de Nobili, Alexander Miller, and Nam Tran Xuan, it combines contemporary dance, breaking, and hip hop. Through a mix of guided exercises and short sequences, participants explore isolations, coordination, rhythm, and dynamic range.

Each style is approached through its specific techniques and principles, offering different entry points into movement — from flow and groove to precision and articulation. Open to all levels, the workshop encourages participants to expand their physical vocabulary and develop their own expressive movement language.

  • Registration is required due to limited number of participants. Reduced tickets are available for 5€ to the participants of the workshop. The ticket link will be shared after registration
  • The event is free of charge.
  • In cooperation with the THINK BIG! Festival

The workshop is based on the shared experience of attending the performance Main Character Lost.  For ticket holders, the performance begins at 11:00 a.m.. All other participants are welcome to join the workshop, which starts at 12:15 p.m.

TUM tanzt!

TUM tanzt! is an initiative of the TUM Center for Culture and Arts and the TUM School of Medicine and Health (Applied Sport Science) that brings dance to life in all its diversity. Through workshops, performances, and community projects, the platform creates a space for dance at the intersection of science, social participation, and holistic health promotion. The events invite participants not only to experience dance as spectators but also to get moving themselves. Together, we foster encounters, creativity, and reflection.
