Should children and teenagers be allowed to use social media only starting at age 16? This question is the focus of this panel discussion hosted by TUM’s Center for Responsible AI Technologies (CReAITech).

Legal scholar Prof. Dr. Boris Paal (TUM) and communication scholar Prof. Dr. Adrian Meier-Ernst (FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg) will examine the legal, educational, and societal aspects of potential age limits and bans. The discussion will be moderated by Christian Djeffal (TUM). Following the panel, the event invites the audience to join the discussion, ask questions, and vote on a potential ban.
