Keynote speeches on electrical engineering and information technology
"Wissenschaft für jedermann": energy, information, nanoelectronics
Event location
German Museum, Munich
Target audience
public
Where the first lecture on electrical telegraphy laid the foundation stone in 1876, today a broad spectrum is covered at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) with over 40 chairs and professorships. Four of them introduce themselves with a short impulse in the "Wissenschaft für jedermann" format:
- From research to application: spin waves for next-generation high-frequency devices?
Markus Becherer, Professor of Chip-based Magnetic Sensor Technology - Are you still parking or already charging? Wireless charging of electric vehicles
Hans-Georg Herzog, Professor of Energy Conversion Technology - Strength training for your cells
Berna Özkale Edelmann, Professor of Nano- and Microrobotics - How to whisper a secret in public - cryptography between everyday life and quantum computers
Antonia Wachter-Zeh, Professor of Coding and Cryptography
The event will be held in German.
