Cooking and fermenting together – and learning more about intestinal health and the prevention of colorectal cancer: The free cooking evenings of "Science Snack", a project for colorectal cancer prevention for young people, organized by TUM students together with a young chef, invite you to do just that.
Their aim is to educate 20-45 year olds about risk factors, the role of the microbiome, nutrition, fibre, exercise, symptoms and prevention of early-onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC) in a low-threshold, science-based way and at eye level. While cooking and eating together, conversations about bowel health are initiated, myths are challenged and current research is explained in an understandable way.
Participation free of charge, registration required.

"Science Snack" is a science communication project by TUM students – and one of 10 successful projects from the university competition 2026 of "Science in Dialogue", funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space in the Science Year "Medicine of the Future".
