At the TUM Diversity Day in the Vorhoelzer Forum, you can look forward to inspiring keynotes, strong speakers from science, business and society as well as valuable insights into topics such as authenticity and leadership, hurdles in professional life and digital violence.

  • 11:30 a.m.: Doors Open & grab a Brezn
  • 12 p.m.: Welcome by Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus (Executive Vice President for Talent Management & Diversity @ TUM) and Dr. Alina Gales (Head of Staff Unit Diversity & Inclusion @ TUM)
  • 12:15 p.m.: Keynote by Magdalena Rogl (Expert on Responsible Leadership & Corporate Culture) about “Ctrl+Alt+Balance: Restarting the Way We Work”
  • 1 p.m.: Panel with Bettina Dietsche (Group Chief People and Culture Officer @ Allianz SE), Dr. Laura Sophie Dornheim (CDO and IT Officer @ City of Munich) and Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus (Executive Vice President for Talent Management & Diversity @ TUM), on “Reaching the Top, Staying True: Leadership in Science, Business and Politics”
  • 2 p.m.: Break with coffee & cake
  • 3 p.m.: Between Theory and Practice: Dual talk by Dr. Luise Koch (Professorship of Global Health @ TUM) and Désirée Mendo from HateAid on “Digital Violence: Evidence, Impact, and How we can Respond”
  • 4 p.m.: Award of the TUM Diversity Research Prize 2026 and Award of the TUM Lead with Care Award 2026
  • 5 p.m.: Impulse with Q&A on “Power = male? How female executives overcome biases and barriers” by Bettina Weiguny (Economic journalist, publicist and columnist), Author of “Machtgebiete: Was Managerinnen erleben und wie sie gegenhalten” [translation: “Power zones: What female managers experience and how they counteract it”] 
  • 6 p.m.: Networking over finger food and drinks
