Academicus - the TUM ideas competition
TUM is proud of its record of excellence - and wants to improve even further. This is why Academicus - the TUM ideas competition - challenges all members of TUM, from freshmen to professors, employees and alumni, to hand in their ideas.
The winners of the Academicus 2016
Once again we have received a staggering amount of ideas. Every single one was appraised and discussed by a jury of 7.
In the end the jury has chosen four ideas, which are both innovative, creative and viable - and will hopefully contribute to make studying at TUM even better.
- Swarm - The Intelligent Planning Tool for TUMonline by Valeria Bopp, Andreas Heimrath, Andreas Notz and Dimitri Reisler: A tool to improve the capacities of TUMonline when it comes to planning your studies.
- A Prevention Program for Students with Low Academic Performance by Arno Buchner: An idea on how to identify, contact and support those who struggle during their studies.
- AUTO-TRAIN - Platform for Autonomous Learning by Annika Kreil: A virtual platform to exchange and evaluate learning materials - by students, for students.
- An Introduction to Editing Wikipedia by Victor Movileanu: Processing acquired knowledge to improve the central source of knowledge online.
Do you also have ideas on how to improve studying, teaching or research at TUM? The next Ideas Competition will be held in 2017 - more info will be provided in time.
