First semester welcome, campus tours, a joint pub evening with the new fellow students - this is how the semester usually starts. But in Corona times, much of this is not possible in the usual form.

Nevertheless, we want you to get the best possible start to your studies. On this page you will find offers to get to know your campus, to network with other students and much more.

Getting to know TUM

Introductory events, campus and library tours – make yourself familiar with the university.

With the interactive campus tours of ExploreTUM you can get to know TUM in a playful way.

ExploreTUM also offers campus guides (German) with which you can explore the university on your own.

The University Library offers virtual tours and webinars to introduce you to the library and show you how it works.

On 27.10.2020, the “Library Powerday” will take place, where a total of four courses will provide all the important information on working in and with the university library.

The Welcome Winter offers special programs for international first-year students.

The TUM Global & Alumni Office offers virtual orientation weeks for exchange students. Here you can find the preliminary program.
