Wind down a bit!

“Our generation is often told that we can save the world,” says Marcel Bischofberger. The 28-year-old student completed his studies of TUM-BWL and mastered a serious life crisis at the same time. In the scope of the Action Week #TUM4MIND (November 5 – 9, 2018) and together with the Junge Akademie of TUM, he wants to draw attention to the importance of mental health and to the question of how it can be maintained.

Nora Weiner and Zaim Sari joined the TUM Senate, one of the most important bodies of TUM, on October 1, 2018. The university's control committee decides on issues such as legislation and new calls. Who are Nora and Zaim, and what are their plans for their term of office?

“Your idea. Your district. Your democracy.” – with this slogan the internet platform muc.me launched this August, providing new, simple ways of participating in Munich’s local politics. Everyone can submit their ideas for improving their neighborhood and vote on other citizens’ suggestions.

TUM is becoming more and more international:

A record semester kick-off

This winter semester sets a new record: around 13,800 freshers have enrolled at TUM and are starting their studies at the TUM-sites in Munich, Garching, Freising, Straubing, Heilbronn, and Singapore.

"Technically Single" – a web series:

Eule or Keule

TUM-fresher Juli and Lukas, a "study'n'chill"-student of Machine Engineering, have a deal: she'll help him manage the semester, and he'll help her to get her ex-boyfriend back so that she can dump him again. Now, Juli is facing a dilemma: should she be a nerdy owl or a party girly? The twists and turns of the web series "Technically Single".
