Renewal of matriculation until February 15
The fee for the summer term of 2014 is 111 Euros: 52 Euros for the student services and 59 Euros as a solidarity contribution for the semester ticket. The time frame for the renewal of matriculation ends on February 15, for freshers on March 15, 2014. First, your payment must be transferred to our account. TU Ski Race: Fun in the snow at Spitzingsee
Come to the TU Ski Race at the Spitzingsee, even if you not one of the best skiers: The Clinic for Orthopaedics and Sport Orthopaedics invites all students and staff to join in on February 22, 2014. The focus is on the fun and the common experience – and all TUM institutes, departments or clinics can field teams or individual contestants. Where? At the “untere Firstalm”, ski-area Spitzingsee (alpenbahnen-spitzingsee.de). The race starts at 11:00 am on February 22, 2014. Student Skiing Challenge in Val d'Isere

Altigliss is known throughout France for the "GEM Altigliss Challenge", the students’ World Skiing Championships that will take place from March 22 – 29, 2014, at the ski resort of Val d'Isère. Last year, there were more than 1,000 participants and teams from Australia, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Germany and France. A team consists of five or six students per university. The entry fee is 490 Euros per person, including: accommodation and a ski-pass for the entire week / shuttle services from the airports of Paris, Geneva and Lyon / participation in one of the Challenges / discounted rental fee for skis, snowboards and skiing equipment / prizes for the participating teams. FameLab: Share your scientific passion with the world
Take part in the FameLab Bavaria on February 19, 2014 in Regensburg, Alte Mälzerei. Wanted: talents in Science Communication concerning the fields of Natural Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Psychology. The task: each participant will hold a three-minute presentation on a scientific topic so that it is generally intelligible. No PowerPoint and no notes – only props that you can carry onto the stage on your own. Apply until February, 17. The national finals will take place in Berlin on May 10.
