    U-Bahn Haltestelle mit einfahrender U-Bahn
Beginning mid-May, some important transportation lines to campus Garching will be closed partially or completely due to construction work: The subway-line U6 in northern Munich will not operate between Studentenstadt and Kieferngarten for several months.
  • Gertie:

A desk-lamp that shows emotions – built by a TUM student

Blaue Lampe Gertie von Fabian Gerlinghaus
Gertie is sad. The blue lamp leans back and hangs its head. A light object that shows feelings? It's possible: Lamp Gertie can express four different emotions by the movement of its body. It was developed by TUM student Fabian Gerlinghaus. This fall, he wants to found a company and develop the prototype so that it can be produced in series.
  • Feedback Management at TUM:

"Tell us what we can do better!"

    Portrait Nina Grote
Any requests, suggestions, criticism – as students often have? At TUM, there has now been an appropriate single point of contact for one year: the Feedback Management of the SSZ. It was built up by Nina Grote, who handles every request personally. Feedback Management – what does that mean exactly? What concerns do the students have? And how can they be helped? Nina Grote in an interview.
