22 students from seven Bavarian universities: On June 28, 2019, the graduates of the Bavarian Academy of Writing (Bayerische Akademie des Schreibens) will present excerpts from their literary texts, which were written in three weekend workshops over the past few months – and there will be a celebration.

Garching: STADTRADELN-Auftakttour (CITY TOUR kick-off)
The city of Garching invites you to another bike tour – starting at the "Gowirich" at the Rathausplatz, then on to the old "Garchinger Hafen" at the Schleißheimer Kanal, then along the canal to its origin. Then, the tour will take you to the Olympic Site, along the Schwarze Lacke and Biedersteiner Kanal, then back to Schleißheim. The bike tour ends at the "Brückenfest" in Hochbrück, where you can enjoy food and drinks in a sociable atmosphere. The tour (approx. 25 km) will take place on June 29, 2019 (starting at 10 am). The TUM's Dragon Boat Race on the Olympic Lake will take place again soon – for the 10th time. Students and professors of the two major universities in Munich will be measuring their strength in paddling on July 12, 2019. If so, you might want to apply for the ideas competition and try to win a prize money of up to 15,000 EUR as well as an individual coaching session that is supposed to help you bring your idea to the market. Save lives by registering as a bone marrow donor
In Germany, one person is diagnosed with blood cancer every 15 minutes – and for one in ten, there is no matching genetic twin for a stem cell donation. The AIAS is a student association that is fighting against blood cancer, at 28 locations in Germany. Help us! On July 17, 2019 there will be a registration campaign at TUM in Garching, organized by the AIAS together with the German Bone Marrow Donor Database (DKMS).
