TUM Entrepreneurship Day 2018
On June 21, the annual Entrepreneurship Day at Technical University of Munich took place in the Audimax Foyer. All visitors experienced TUM start-ups at Pitch Competitions and participated in the Presidential Entrepreneurship Award ceremony, which was awarded to an outstanding spin-off whose business vision is largely based on research findings. In addition, there were various networking offers for all start-ups and start-up interested parties in the evening.
Presidential Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony 2018
The 2018 TUM Presidential Entrepreneurship Award went to NAVVIS, which develops applications for mapmaking and navigation in interior spaces, exact to the centimeter. For NavVis, founded in 2013, today approximately 140 employees work on the innovative digitalization project in Munich and New York. Prof. Dr. Thomas Hofmann, Vice President of Research and Innovation at TUM, conferred the award on behalf of President Prof. Dr. Herrmann. The award comes with a 10,000-euro prize and is endowed by the Bund der Freunde.
