First-hand experiences from TUM founders and how to successfully leverage the TUM Start-up Ecosystem.
by TUM ForTe Entrepreneurship
At this competition, TUM founders are called upon to prove their pitch qualities and to convince the jury and the audience of themselves and their own product. Pitch Perfect is aimed at technology and knowledge-based start-ups at TUM between the seed and expansion phases. The finalists pitch live for the chance to win prize money of €5,000.
This year’s finalists are: DATFID | Kognexus | Tender Republic | Hefex Labs | DUNEO| Digital Buddy | Quipu | Plausion
Learn more about the finalists below.
- DATFID: DATFID builds interpretable AI for forecasting and decision-making. Our technology analyzes multi-product and multi-entity business data, delivers instant forecasts, and shows the cause-and-effect drivers behind them, without black-box models, training, or GPU infrastructure.
- Kognexus: Today’s robots rely on rare-earth magnets that are costly and exposed to supply-chain risk. Kognexus builds rare-earth-free actuators that make EU robotics more affordable and sovereign.
- Tender Republic: Tender Republic is an AI platform for SMEs selling to the public sector. It finds relevant tenders, extracts requirements, and helps teams create bids faster with less manual work, fewer formal errors, and higher win potential.
- Hefex Labs: Hefex Labs builds an AI-powered PCB assembly machine purpose-built for rapid prototyping. Using computer vision, it autonomously identifies and places electronic components - cutting setup time from over an hour to just 5 minutes, with no specialized skills or manual programming required.
- DUNEO: Born in Mojave, built for anywhere. DUNEO's hardware testing platform ensures products are reliable, get to market faster and push boundaries. Technologies of tomorrow are made with DUNEO.
- Digital Buddy: Digital Buddy is the first peer-verified, personalised, journey-based and contextual onboarding platform for international students in Germany. Universities pay for it and students get access for free, so that no international student has to suffer the consequences of a lack of information.
- Quipu: Quipu is an AI-powered education platform that analyzes student performance through assignments and exams in real time to detect learning gaps early. It connects teachers, parents, and school leaders with actionable insights to support each student’s progress and improve outcomes.
- Plausion: Plausion is building an AI Agent that Tracks and Checks Invoices for the Construction Industry.
