Teresa Zimmermann, a student of Chemistry, was able to meet 35 Nobel Prize laureates when she took part in the 2013 Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau at Lake Constance. In an interview with TUMstudinews, she reports what she experienced there and who most impressed her.
150 million of the world's population are not able to buy eyeglasses. The OneDollarGlasses could solve the problem. The project belongs to Enactus München, where TUM students learn to show social commitment and to act entrepreneurially and at the same time – successfully: the team from Munich has just beaten all national competitors with its five ideas.
Combining high performance sports and science: Thea Heim is studying Information Systems at the TUM in her sixth semester and is the German U-23 junior champion and DLV-team athlete for the 1,500 meter-distance. The TUM has voted: The results of the university elections 2013 are final. There were elections for the positions of the student representatives for the student councils, for the Senate and for several faculty directors. The two student representatives in the Senate are Peter Zarnitz and Peter Kuhn.
