Come to the TUM Architecture Museum and see stories about the charitable and violent dynamics of gift-giving through examples in four cities. The exhibition "The Gift - Generosity and Violence in Architecture" examines the background and problems of architectural gifts. What are the benefits of donated buildings and how can they cause harm? The unequal relationship between giver and receiver can lead to both benevolence and violence. Case studies from four continents tell stories of humanitarian, developmental, diplomatic and philanthropic donations.

The TUM Architecture Museum is offering a comprehensive tour and program of activities to accompany the exhibition "The Gift".
