Discover and try things out: We invite you to experience research up close for a whole day.

Come to the Garching research campus and experience science in lectures, hands-on activities, guided tours and much more. Whether young or old, there are numerous activities for every one on this day: students, staff and external guests. In addition to TUM, many other research institutions such as the Max Planck and Fraunhofer Institutes will be taking part in the day of action.

Open Day with the Mouse 2024

We are also taking part in the nationwide "Doors open with the Mouse" campaign day: some of our open day programmes take place as part of the Mouse Door Opener Day. But don't worry if these dates are already fully booked: There's a lot more to discover for young researchers on the Garching campus on October 3 – no registration required.

Enhance Connections for Sustainable Futures

Innovative engineering education throughout Europe! Together with five leading European technical universities, TUM invites students and partners to participate in the challenge-based teaching and learning format "EuroTeQ Collider". The EuroTeQ Collider project weeks take place independently at each of the six EuroTeQ universities. During these project weeks, interdisciplinary and heterogeneous teams consisting of students, doctoral candidates, trainees and employees from various companies work on different challenges on the topic of "Enhance Connections for Sustainable Futures". TUM students (B.Sc., M.Sc., Staatsexamen) and doctoral candidates can register until March 31.

The three winning teams from TUM will compete with the three first-place winners from the European partners at the EuroTeQaThon from June 8-10, 2024 in Paris!
