How should I handle interview requests? Do I have to answer all the questions that journalists ask me? What should I do if someone challenges me on social media? What should I consider when I participate in a talk show? How can I effectively communicate my research to the general public? These questions highlight the growing importance of professional science communication for researchers.
Dr. Sibylle Anderl, Co-Ressortleiterin of the science magazine “WISSEN” by DIE ZEIT, brings deep expertise in science journalism. With a background in astrophysics and philosophy, she provides valuable insights into how journalists work and what they expect from researchers. In conversation with VP Prof. Dr. Jeanne Rubner, she takes us behind the scenes of science communication, helping researchers effectively share their work.

- You will gain an overview of communication formats.
- You will receive tips for your own communication strategy.
