Your chance to meet the president

Do you work or study at TUM and want to shape the university’s future? President Thomas F. Hofmann invites you to join him at the Presidential Lunches and share ideas that will benefit the entire university. The lunches with students and all employees are an expression of our lived culture of appreciation and open exchange.

We offer three formats of the Presidential Lunches. Please apply in good time for the dates listed below.

Presidential Student Lunch - for students

Please note that the Freising date (originally June 20) has been postponed to October 30, 2024. The date in Heilbronn scheduled for October 30 will be postponed accordingly to November 13, 2024. People who have already applied for one of the formats will be informed personally.

The next Presidential Faculty Lunch is expected to take place in November, the date will be announced here.

Our staff are the DNA of our university. For that reason it is important to me as the president of TUM to listen to them and show them the respect that is due to them.
