At TUM Female Founders, we address the challenges and opportunities that women in particular face on their path to founding a company. We offer a community and program content that supports female founders in every phase of their start-up process.

Summer School
Deepen your knowledge and expand your skills with customized workshops and seminars designed specifically for female founders. We offer recurring workshops on the following topics at regular intervals.
Network events
Make valuable contacts within our extensive ecosystem of TUM, UnternehmerTUM and the TUM Venture Labs and exchange ideas with other successful female entrepreneurs. Our community events offer you the perfect platform to expand your network and forge new partnerships.
Mentoring
Benefit from the experience and knowledge of our mentors, who are on hand with advice and support to help you on your way. The mentor pool of experienced female founders and businesswomen is available to you both for individual coaching sessions and for longer mentorship support.
EXIST-Women
EXIST-Women is a funding program of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) for the qualification of female founders. In addition to small financial support for the scholarship holders and special qualification offers, the program offers accompanying mentoring by experienced experts from the business world.
To bring about real change (in the startup world), we need role models of all genders who speak openly about the compatibility of startups and care work as well as diversity. It is up to all of us to stand up loud and clear for our needs and initiate change step by step.

Women of TUM
Women of TUM is an inclusive and dynamic network that is growing rapidly and connects women* across disciplines and national borders. With over 19,000 female students, 130 female professors and 40,000 female alumnae, the network offers a platform for exchange and inspiration.
TUM Gender & Diversity
The Staff Unit Diversity & Inclusion, including the TUM Family Service, offers guidance, target group-specific programs, and events on topics related to diversity, inclusion, and family. The Gender Equality Office provides support for women and is represented on TUM committees by the TUM Gender Equality Officer.
Women Start-up
With the Women Start-up initiative, UnternehmerTUM aims to inspire and motivate women for the topics of start-ups and technology. They help to identify talent, provide training for founding a start-up and support the entrepreneurial path with advice and assistance.
