Number 5 in the world for shaping digital leaders

QS World University Rankings by Subject

TUM among the top 25 in engineering and natural sciences

In the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, TUM has improved to 19th place in engineering and 23rd place in natural sciences. TUM is also among the top 25 universities worldwide in the rankings for seven individual subjects. In eight other areas, it is one of the top 50 universities.

High placements for TUM in prestigious rankings

In two of the most highly respected international subject rankings, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) again achieved outstanding positions. In the THE World University Rankings by Subject, which assesses broad subject groups, TUM is ranked among the world’s top 25 in three areas. In the Global Rankings of Academic Subjects (Shanghai Rankings), which cover individual subjects, TUM is among the top 25 in four subjects and among the top 10 in remote sensing and medical technology.
