Steering Committee

Digitization in Studies and Teaching

The Board of the Technical University of Munich has set up the Steering Committee for Digitalization in Studies and Teaching with the aim of making the digitalization process in studies and teaching more dynamic.

Its members are the TUM IT Service Center, the TUM Center for Study and Teaching and a delegate from the schools.

All projects are carefully examined by the steering committee and evaluated in terms of their benefits, expected costs and complexity, and prioritized based on these criteria.

Current digitization projects

The following digitization projects are currently in progress in the area of studies and teaching:

  • Digitization of the "Applications" workflow
  • Digitization of the "Theses" process
  • Digital degree certificates
  • Digital statutes & ordinances

  • StudentCard-App
