5th edition of the fatum-Magazine: Dialogue
An award for the editorial team

In addition to the classics, the magazine also focuses on contemporary philosophy and shines a philosophical light on current developments in science and technology.
The current issue: Dialogue
In times of growing social divisions, successful dialogues are to be seen as especially valuable. But how to achieve a dialogue? What criteria are desirable for dialogues? What forms of dialogue are there – concerning humans, animals, or machines? What is solitude worth – and when should a dialogue be denied?
These and other questions are addressed by the current issue of fatum. The essays, reports, and literary contributions on the subject “Dialogue” were provided by TUM students, lecturers, and guest authors from all over the world.
The TUM’s philosophy magazine, initiated by students
Fatum is published at the Chair of Philosophy and Philosophy of Science – every six months and with a current circulation of 1,400. The magazine will be distributed free of charge during a “release tour” to the different TUM-sites (from January 11 to 17, 2017).
In addition, the magazine will also be available at several TUM libraries and other institutions, and the current issue can also be viewed online: www.fatum-magazin.de.
The editorial board appreciates feedback regarding the magazine and welcomes students who would like to join the team in the areas of editing, finance, illustration, or design.
