Discover and try things out: We have invited you to experience research up close for a whole day.

At the Garching research campus, visitors were invited to experience science in lectures, hands-on activities, guided tours and much more. Whether young or old, there were numerous activities for every one on this day: students, staff and external guests. In addition to TUM, many other research institutions such as the Max Planck and Fraunhofer Institutes took part in the day of action.

Love Data Week: Mysterious Metadata

The university library uses two interactive games to demonstrate and discuss the relevance of metadata. They also provide a first insight into the formalization of metadata.

The webinar “Mysterious Metadata” takes place on the occasion of Love Data Week 2025, an international week of action around the topics of research data and research data management. Under the motto “Whose Data Is It, Anyway?”, data love will be celebrated worldwide from February 10–14, 2025 with numerous events on a wide variety of topics.
