The University Library already provides a vast range of electronic journals and books, easily accessible online, on campus or from home.

Also, thanks to the service dokumenTUM, you can even get digital versions of works that are so far only available in printed form – in accordance with the copyright provisions.

It’s really simple: Search for the respective literature and place your order in the online catalog. The University Library will provide the scans within two working days; by email or – if the file is too large – via FTP-download.

dokumenTUM is a free service for TUM-students. Due to copyright regulations, the offer is limited to small parts of books (up to twelve percent). By the way: All branch libraries have book scanners that you can use yourself – also free of charge.
