Borrowing and returning books available again

Even during the Corona Pandemic, the TUM University Library is there for you. We are back with our loan services: You can borrow and return literature in all branch libraries. Also interlibrary loan is available again.

In addition to its digital collections of 160,000 e-books, 45,000 e-journals and 2,400 databases, the University Library resumes its on-site services, including loan services, in the framework of an appropriate pandemic precaution. Upon prior reservation, TUM students have access to studying areas. Places are limited.

From 29 June, the University Library will extend its opening hours further: Branch libraries will open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the main campus, in Weihenstephan and at the mathematics & informatics branch library even until 10:00 p.m.

To protect the health of everyone, strict safety regulations must be observed. During the Corona Pandemic, special provisions apply if you wish to use the services of the library. The most important rules are:
