Self-study with the IEEE eLearning Library

The University Library offers now all TUM members access to the IEEE eLearning Library. From the collection about 500 learning tutorials in English on a variety of topics in science and technology were licensed.

The IEEE eLearning Library offers students and flexible learning opportunities with hundreds of course hours. Courses are suitable for self-study or group training, include interactive exercises and provide instant feedback as you work through lessons. You can set your own learning pace and join at different learning levels.

Wide range of tutorials

The tutorials cover a wide range of engineering and research technologies, including Aerospace, Bioengineering, Communications, Computing, Components, Circuits, Devices & Systems, Photonics & Electro-Optics, Power & Energy, Robotics or Signal Processing. The package licensed for TUM includes a selection of learning tutorials published until the end of 2020. It does not include language courses such as "English for Technical Professionals" or "English for Engineering".

Online access

As a TUM member, you can conveniently log in to the IEEE eLearning Library on your own computer with your TUM ID via eAccess. In order to use further, personalized options, such as creating your own course lists or printing out participation certificates, you must create an IEEE Personal Account.
