On 23 November 2025, the first round of the Imperial-Cambridge Mathematics Competition (ICMC) will take place at the Technical University of Munich, organized by the TUM Student Club Munich Competitive Math Club.
The student-run ICMC gives undergraduate and master’s students the chance to put their mathematical skills to the test in a creative, competitive setting: 6 challenges in 3 hours. The problems are designed to encourage creative problem-solving and analytical thinking — skills that are highly sought after in research, technology, and data science.
The competition will be conducted in English.
Round One will be held simultaneously at multiple universities across Europe. The top 100 participants will advance to Round Two, which will take place in February 2026 at Imperial College London.
