"Brief Tender Light" accompanies four African students at the elite university MIT on a ten-year journey between two continents. They all aspire to become agents of change for their home countries of Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, and in the process must figure out how to reconcile ambition, migration, identity and the question of home. The film is a deeply personal examination of ambition, migration, identity and the question of the meaning of home - and at the same time reflects the life of director Arthur Musah, who will be present at the screening.
The film series is presented by the TUM Language Center and the Munich University of Television and Film.
Admission is free. No registration is necessary.
