Visit our Rechts der Isar and German Heart Center sites on Open House and gain an insight into many areas of medicine.
TUM University Hospital was founded in August 2024 through the merger of the Rechts der Isar Hospital and the German Heart Center Munich. On July 5, the two locations will jointly introduce themselves to the public for the first time. Visitors can look forward to a varied program for the whole family:
- guided tours offering a look into high-tech areas of medicine
- lectures
- information booths
- exhibitions.
Experts from the hospital will be available to answer questions and provide health checks, for example. The TUM University Hospital will also present itself as an attractive employer for Munich and the surrounding region.
The opening ceremony will take place at 10:00 am at the Rechts der Isar location, with Bavaria’s Minister of Science, Markus Blume, expected as guest of honor. Speakers will also include Dr. Martin Siess, Medical Director of TUM University Hospital, and Professor Thomas F. Hofmann, President of TUM.
