Would you like to experience the governance of the European Union in practice and learn more about environmental policy? Then this workshop is just right for you!

How can plastic waste be significantly reduced in the EU? What measures are useful for effectively limiting plastic production in the EU? What options does the EU Green Deal offer? These and other questions on the implementation of EU environmental policy are addressed in the Zero Waste EU simulation.

During the role play, you will learn a lot about the EU's environmental policy and at the same time about the political foundations of the European Union and the European legislative process. For one day, you will slip into the role of political actors (European Parliament, EU Commission, EU Council of Ministers, Economic and Social Committee).

  • The workshop is open to all TUM Bachelor and Master students.
  • The working language is English.
  • You do not need to prepare anything before the event.
