The war on Ukraine has made it impossible for many young people to continue their studies. In response to these extraordinary circumstances, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has launched an integration program to provide students impacted by the war with unbureaucratic access to the university environment. Also, TUM will support students in financial need with direct aid.

In response to the devastating war in Ukraine, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has launched a fellowship program that makes it possible to host displaced researchers in Bavaria. A mere two weeks after the program's launch, six scientists from Ukraine have found placements together with their families.
The BMW Group will support future research on quantum computers at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The contract establishing the endowed chair for Quantum Algorithms and Applications ("Quantenalgorithmen und -anwendungen") was signed by TUM president Thomas F. Hofmann, BMW AG Board of Management member Frank Weber and BMW AG CIO Alexander Buresch.
No other German university has more "Deutschlandstipendium" scholarship holders than TUM. Over the past 10 years, the scholarship program served to support talented students who, in addition to their studies, are also involved socially – and they benefit from more than just financial help: The scholarship holders and the sponsors form a unique network.
