Support for start-ups in the field of Artificial Intelligence

IABG becomes TUM Venture Labs Platinum Partner

As a new Platinum Partner, security solution technology specialist IABG will in the future support TUM Venture Labs in promoting start-ups at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The owner-managed corporation based in Ottobrunn near Munich will specifically support start-up teams from the field of artificial intelligence.

IABG owner and Management Board Chairman Prof. Rudolf F. Schwarz said: "In actively collaborating with TUM Venture Labs we want to combine IABG's strengths such as a broad expertise basis, controlled structures and financial strength with the advantages of start-ups, for example Deep-Tech knowledge, agility and optimism in order to accelerate the realization of innovations in the form of marketable applications."

TUM President Prof. Thomas F. Hofmann remarked: "In addition to financial support for our start-ups, the visionary entrepreneur Rudolf Schwarz and his technology company IABG will be outstanding mentors and partners. They are giving our TUM Venture Labs another powerful boost and are taking us one step closer to making the Munich metropolitan region the leading technology center in Europe. My sincere thanks!"

TUM Venture Labs

The TUM Venture Labs are a joint initiative of TUM and UnternehmerTUM, Europe's leading center for start-ups and innovation. The internationally competitive Venture Labs support program drives the founding of start-ups. Specifically oriented to the significant technology fields of the future, the Venture Labs create dynamic ecosystems comprising start-ups, science, investors and experienced companies. There are currently eleven TUM Venture Labs for a wide variety of topic areas. The TUM Venture Labs program is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts.
