Concept of personal accompaniment:

Buddies for Refugees to be continued

In the summer semester of 2016, the TUM’s concept of personal accompaniment and support for asylum-seeking refugees is to be continued.

Over the course of one semester, students and doctoral students will individually accompany guest students who attend lectures oat the same campus or at the same faculty.

The guest students will gain insight into the university environment, learn more about the requirements for future students, and they can find orientation regarding the right field of study. Another advantage is the chance for them to improve their German.

The “Buddies for Refugees”-program is implemented by a team of the TUM’s Junge Akademie, where additional supporters from inside the TUM would be very welcome.
