New regulations for borrowing books:
Loan renewals without recall

What’s new:
- Lending periods will be extended by four weeks if there is no other reservation.
- Granted extensions can no longer be revoked.
- Possible extensions: twice for the loan collection and five times for textbooks.
What will remain the same:
- The lending period of a book will be extended automatically if there is no other reservation.
- The lending period for magazines is two weeks – without the possibility of an extension.
Your benefits:
- You will no longer have to return library items on short notice on someone else’s request.
- The fixed return deadlines are listed in your OPAC account.
