Presenter
Prof. Matthias Niessner
In his lecture, Prof. Matthias Niessner explains how the real world can be photorealistically recreated. The aim of his research is to create interactive 3D content that is indistinguishable from physical reality. In future, users will be able to take 3D photos and share them with friends or family. It should also be possible to comprehensively document historical events for future generations.
"Science for Everyone" is a series of lectures by the Deutsches Museum in which internationally renowned scientists report on their current research in an understandable way and discuss it with the audience.
