Are you uneasy how to find literature quickly and efficiently? Do you have questions about techniques of academic work or do you need help with reference management software? The library offers courses for exactly these challenges.

  • Information Literacy 1 – Search and Find E-Books and E-Journals
    This course will help you to reach your goal quickly when searching literature.
     
  • Information Literacy 2 – Research Strategies for Seminar Papers and Theses
    Don't get lost in the maze of literature databases. Always find the right research platform for your topic and obtain the literature you need without detours.
     
  • Cite It Right
    To avoid unintended plagiarism in your thesis, get to know everything about possible pitfalls when citing and learn how to apply citation rules correctly.
     
  • New in the Summer Semester 2021: Copyright in Teaching
    Get to know key aspects of the lawfully permitted use of copyrighted materials in teaching and science as well as the use of Creative Commons Licences.
     
  • Reference Management with Citavi & EndNote
    Keep track of your references! Manage citations, sources and references in your academic work easily with a reference management program.
     
  • Individual Consultations
    If you need individual advice, make an appointment for our consultation hours on literature research or reference management & citation.
