Prepare to be entertained by clever dialogue, amusing situations, and an engaging exploration of the true importance of being earnest. Oscar Wilde’s witty comedy is this year’s summer production of our student drama club AcTUM.

In this witty tale, we follow the escapades of two young gentlemen, Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrieft, who both adopt the pseudonym "Ernest" to escape their social obligations and pursue their romantic interests. As they navigate the complexities of love and deception, they court the charming Gwendolen Fairfax and the enchanting Cecily Cardew.

against the backdrop of London and the serene English countryside, the story unfolds with a series of humorous misunderstandings, revealing the absurdities and pretenses of high society.
