Fritz Koenig’s works shape public spaces from New York to Yokohama, from Dakar to London. And yet, to truly experience the scope of his artistic achievements, one does not need to travel far. In and around Munich, striking, exemplary works from every decade of his long and prolific career can be found. Some stand prominently in central locations and are firmly anchored in public awareness. Others, however, are almost forgotten.

This two-hour walking tour will lead to a selection of his sculptures around TUM.

Admission is free, registration is required. The tour will be held in German.

The event will take place as part of the installation ‘Fritz Koenig. Teacher. Sculptor. Architect’. The overall project is a collaboration between the TUM Centre for Culture and Arts, the Freundeskreis Fritz Koenig and Dr. Stefanje Weinmayr, with the kind support of the TUM University Foundation.
