Prof. Daniel Cremers
Artificial intelligence has gained in importance in recent years. It raises hopes and expectations, but also concerns and fears. In his lecture "Past and Future of Artificial Intelligence", Prof. Daniel Cremers gives a brief insight into the history of artificial intelligence: from the dream of thinking machines to the breakthrough of neural networks. He will then highlight current developments from research at the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML), from 3D scene analysis for autonomous systems to synthesis of language and images.
"Science for Everyone" is a lecture series of the Deutsches Museum in which internationally renowned scientists report on their current research in an understandable way and discuss it with the audience.
