Organization of the university: TUM Governance
The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is an entrepreneurial university. Its management and supervisory structures are vertical, organized to encourage a sense of empowerment and initiative at every level. The various disciplines (academic departments) are horizontal in structure, complemented by interdisciplinary Integrative Research Centers.
